pic_rigatto

Welcome to the Fall CSN e-Newsletter, which will bring you all up to speed on recent CSN activities as well as what is coming up in the next few months.

As many of you will remember, I assumed the position of CSN President at our last AGM on May 13th, 2022. I am truly honoured and humbled to serve our great community in this role.

I would like to acknowledge and thank our past president, Sanjay Pandeya, for his vision and hard work over the past two years, as well as for his wisdom and advice during this transition in leadership.

COVID-19 Emergency Preparedness

Dialysis patients have a high COVID-19 mortality rate, but were left out of vaccine priority: View the CTV News Interviews with CSN President, Dr. Sanjay Pandeya along with CSN Members Dr. Michelle Hladunewich and Dr. François Madore, SQN President.

CSN has advocated to all Provinces and the Federal Government for the urgent prioritization of dialysis patients for COVID-19 vaccinations. La SCN a préconisé auprès de toutes les provinces et du gouvernement fédéral, la priorisation urgente de la vaccination contre la COVID-19 des patients sous dialyse.

The CSN has reached out to many of the renal agencies to ask for copies of their contingency plans, which are posted on this page of the CSN website as a central place for all to review.
