Attend World Congress of Nephrology 2013
The WCN is taking place in Hong Kong
May 31, 2013.
The CSN’s mission is to promote high quality care for patients with kidney disease by encouraging research, facilitating health services, enhancing renal scholarship and promoting continuing professional competence of nephrologists.
First established in 1966, the CSN has contributed to the training of countless Canadian nephrologists, and has an outstanding reputation for research and scholarship around the world. Key CSN activities include organizing the annual scientific meeting and post-graduate education course; production of clinical practice guidelines; funding training opportunities for scientists and clinicians in Canada and abroad; and representing Canadian nephrology on national and international organizations such as Canadian Organ Replacement Register (CORR), the International Society of Nephrology (ISN) and Kidney Disease; Improving Global Outcomes (KDIGO). All these activities have directly benefited Canadian nephrologists in some way.
Benefits of membership include:
- Group membership in ISN: including electronic access to Kidney International and eligibility for ISN funding programs
- Access to the members-only area of the CSN website with links to practice guidelines, educational content, job postings and case discussions.
- Discounted rates to attend the annual CSN meeting and post-graduate educational course.
In addition to these tangible benefits, your decision to join the CSN will ensure that we are able to continue our work on behalf of all Canadian nephrologists and nephrology trainees. A portion of the CSN membership dues are used to support the CSN international health initiatives – aimed at building capacity for treating kidney disease in low and middle income nations.
